1. Who publishes this site
troveglint.com is published by Priya Sharma, a private individual, of 204 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5T 3J4, Canada, telephone +1 604-874-5439, e-mail inbox@troveglint.com. There is no company behind the site, no team and no editorial board: one person writes, edits and maintains everything published here.
2. What TroveGlint is, and what it is not
TroveGlint is an editorial publication about sweet-themed mobile games — candy, dessert and fruit puzzles and light strategy titles available on Android. It describes how those games play, quotes what their storefront listings say, and compares them.
TroveGlint is not a shop, a storefront, a distributor or an intermediary. It sells nothing, hosts no application files, issues no keys or codes, operates no account system and offers no subscription. Nothing on these pages is an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract for the supply of goods or services is formed by reading them.
3. Independence and absence of affiliation
The site is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise connected to Google LLC, Google Play, Bart Bonte, Infinite Dreams, Jam City, Inc., Pragmatic Play, or any other studio, publisher, storefront or brand mentioned or depicted. All product names, studio names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary only. No compensation is accepted in return for coverage, placement or a favourable description, and no advertising is sold or displayed on this site.
4. Game information, prices and ratings
Figures shown on these pages — the store price, the star rating, the count of published reviews, the developer name and the category — are transcribed by hand from the public Google Play listing for Canada as it appeared on the day the page was prepared. Where a listing publishes no rating, the page says so rather than substituting a figure from elsewhere.
Store listings change without notice, and prices differ between countries, promotions and account types. The figures here are therefore a snapshot and not a quotation. Before acquiring anything, check the listing itself; where the listing and this site disagree, the listing governs. Descriptions of how a game plays are the personal opinion of the operator formed after playing it, and reasonable people may disagree.
5. Acquiring a game happens in Google Play
Every title described here is obtained through Google Play, under the terms and conditions of that store and of the studio concerned. A paid title is a one-time purchase in the store, handled entirely by Google Play using the account signed in on the reader's device. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own published rules, within the periods it sets, and requests must be made to Google Play rather than to the operator of this site. TroveGlint receives no commission, no referral fee and no share of any transaction, and never sees or handles the details a reader gives the store.
6. Intellectual property
The written text, the selection and arrangement of material, the layout and the site's own graphic marks are the work of the operator and are protected by the Copyright Act (RSC 1985, c. C-42). They may be quoted briefly with a clear attribution and a reference to troveglint.com; wholesale copying, republication, translation or the creation of derivative sites is not permitted without written consent.
Screenshots and application icons reproduced on these pages remain the property of the studios that made them. They appear at low resolution, unaltered except for cropping, and solely to illustrate editorial commentary about the game shown, which is a use consistent with fair dealing for the purposes of criticism, review and news reporting under the Copyright Act. A rights holder who would prefer a particular image removed may write to the address in section 1 and it will be taken down promptly.
7. Acceptable use
Readers agree not to attempt to interfere with the operation of the site, to circumvent its security arrangements, to scrape it in a manner that degrades service for others, or to reproduce it in whole for the purpose of passing it off as their own or another's publication. Automated access is tolerated where it respects the published robots file and does not impose an unreasonable load.
8. No warranty
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Although every effort is made to keep the pages accurate and current, the operator gives no warranty, express or implied, that the content is complete, error-free or fit for any particular purpose, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Nothing in this section limits any statutory guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (SBC 2004, c. 2).
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site — including loss arising from a store figure that has changed since publication, or from a decision to acquire a game that turned out not to suit the reader. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that may not be excluded under the law of British Columbia.
10. Raising a problem before going further
A reader who believes something on this site is inaccurate, unlawful or unfair is asked to write first to inbox@troveglint.com, describing the page, the passage complained of and the outcome sought. The operator answers within thirty days and corrects genuine errors as a matter of course. This step is a courtesy intended to resolve matters quickly; it does not limit any right to approach a court or a regulator, including Consumer Protection BC and the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General.
11. Governing law and forum
These terms, and any non-contractual obligation connected with them or with the site, are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. The courts of British Columbia, sitting in Vancouver, have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right a consumer has to bring proceedings where they are resident.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. The revised version is published at this address with a new effective date, applies from that date, and does not operate retrospectively. Continuing to read the site after a revision indicates acceptance of the revised text.
13. Severability and contact
