1. Summary
TroveGlint sets no cookie of its own. It has no analytics product, no advertising tag, no remarketing pixel, no social plug-in and no third-party script other than the delivery network described below. The site writes exactly one entry into the browser's own local storage, and only after a reader presses a button in the notice bar.

The two Cloudflare entries are set by the network in front of this site, not by any code the operator wrote, and appear only when Cloudflare's protective measures are engaged for a given request. Cloudflare may also add its own aggregate delivery-performance measurement to pages it serves; it reports loading timings in aggregate, is not configured or read by the operator, and does not build a profile of an individual reader.
3. What is deliberately absent
- No analytics product of the operator's own, and no visitor-level statistics.
- No advertising network, ad tag or remarketing pixel — nothing on this site is sold to advertisers, and no advertising is displayed.
- No social network buttons, embedded video players or comment systems.
- No fingerprinting, and no attempt to recognise a reader across sites or across visits.
4. The notice bar and consent
Because nothing here tracks anyone, the bar shown on a first visit is informational rather than a consent gate: no script is held back waiting for it, since there is no script to hold back. Pressing Accept or Decline records the same single entry, tg1_cookie_ack, with the wording of the choice, and hides the bar. Declining removes nothing that was ever running, and both choices leave the site equally usable.
5. Removing what is stored
Every entry above can be removed by clearing site data for troveglint.com in the browser's settings, or by using a private browsing window, which discards them when it closes. Blocking cookies for this domain in the browser has no effect on reading the site; at most, the Cloudflare security cookie may be re-issued and the notice bar may reappear on each visit, since the record of the earlier answer would no longer exist.
6. Legal position
The entries described here are either strictly necessary for delivering and protecting the site or are set at the reader's own request, and none is used for marketing or for building a profile. They are handled in line with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and, where it applies, the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act. Section 4 of the privacy notice explains what hosting and Cloudflare process when a page is served, and the rights available to a reader.
7. Changes and contact
